Free e-notifications can be subscribed to by anyone who has an e-mail inbox and who agrees to the terms and conditions listed below.
Signing up for e-notifications is voluntary and forms the basis for the processing of personal data in accordance with Article 10 and in connection with Article 72 of the Personal Data Protection Act (Ur. l. RS, No. 94/2007 as amended; ZVOP- 1) and Article 45 a of the Consumer Protection Act (Ur. l. RS, No. 98/04 as amended; ZVOP-2).
Content of e-notification
With free e-notifications, the Organizer/Technical organizer informs about current activities related to the SIDEC event and other activities of the Organizer.
The sender of e-notifications and the controller of the personal data collection is Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster (GOIS) g.i.z.
The Attendee agrees that his data will be used for:
- information about the SIDEC event;
- sending offers and promotional messages to the participant himself in connection with the event by post, e-mail or by phone;
- informing and advertising the event before, during and after the event;
- statistical data processing;
- market research and public opinion research;
- creation and updating of the organizer’s databases.
Data Processing
The Participant/Attendee receives e-notifications on the basis of voluntary application to receive e-notifications on websites, participation in prize games of the operator or from other legal addresses with which voluntary consent was given.
By signing up for e-notifications, the individual expressly agrees that Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster (GOIS) processes personal data for the purposes of targeted and direct marketing. Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster (GOIS) may process the registered e-mail address and other data until the consent is revoked or until the time when the data will no longer serve its purpose.
The obtained personal data will be Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster (GOIS) carefully protected and used in accordance with applicable legislation and only for the purpose for which they were obtained, and will not pass them on to third parties. In accordance with ZVOP-1, every individual, applicant is guaranteed the rights to view, copy, copy, supplement, correct, block and delete personal data relating to the individual.
Check-outs (Opt-Out)
In accordance with the applicable legislation, the individual has the right to request at any time, in writing or in another agreed manner, that the Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster (GOIS) permanently or temporarily ceases to use personal data for the purposes of targeted and direct marketing, whereby Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster (GOIS) within 15 days of receiving the notification, properly disable the use of personal data for the purposes of targeted and direct marketing and inform the individual about this in writing or in another agreed way within a further five days.
Instructions for unsubscribing via the received e-notification
In every e-notification, the CANCEL link is published in the footer of the message, through which it is possible to unsubscribe from participation. In case of non-operation, the user sends the CANCEL message to permanently delete the selected e-mail address from the notification of the event. In case of complete cancellation and permanent deletion of data from the Organizer’s/technical organizer’s databases, the individual must notify in writing via the e-mail address info@sidec.si with an exact indication of the canceled data.
