BLS ALGO
Ministry of Defence co-financed the RRIA BLS ALGO, which was implemented in two phases (at the development stages TRL 8 and 9) by a consortium of Slovenian companies and scientific research institutions led by Igea d.o.o. Already in the development stage TRL 8, it provided processing of video and image material from visible and thermal sensors obtained with UAS. At the development stage TRL 9, the system was upgraded with the ability to process other sensors, such as LIDAR and night sensors, which ensures improved detection and recognition of almost invisible military and civilian objects in real time. In this development stage, personal data protection was also ensured through anonymization and full data traceability.
After the completion of the RRIA BLS ALGO 9 at the TRL 9 development stage, further product development took place, which resulted in to the gAiros system, which enables:
- processing of data obtained from various sensor systems from the air, land or water with support of geospatial artificial intelligence and map generation in real time,
- improved detection and recognition of almost invisible military and civilian objects (persons, vehicles, combat vehicles, vessels, fortified military facilities, …) in real time,
- improved self-learning of the system for possibility of adding new objects,
- improved protection of acquired and processed data and anonymization of persons and objects in real time,
- higher level of preparation for swarm management (drones, self-propelled vehicles and vessels, …).

TZMIKROBPL
Ministry of Defence is co-financing the RRIA TZMIKROBPL, which is currently at the TRL 8 development stage and represents a new technological capability of the Slovenian Armed Forces, which includes a remotely controlled micro unmanned aerial system with the ability to operate as a reconnaissance or combat capability (functioning as a smart munition) where it can drop a payload or act as a suicide capability. TZMIKROBPL can also operate in an environment where the GNSS signal does not work or is disrupted, operates in electronic warfare conditions and is supported by the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence. It allows independent operation, and preliminary preparation for operation in swarms. At the TRL 8 development stage, it is intended for operation against manpower, its total mass is up to 2kg and it is capable of operating within a radius of at least 5km, with an operating time of at least 20min and with an additional payload weight of 300g. In the continuation of development at TRL 9, we will increase the payload to a weight between 1 and 2kg, which will also ensure the possibility of operating against armored and fortified military targets.
